I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving break and that you
are ready to go as we finish up this semester! It will be a
"busy" push to the end to say the least but, we are going to
have some great musical experiences coming up in the next few
weeks so I'm sure it will be worth it! Here's this week's
schedule....
Monday -
Composite Picture Viewing Session (come by
the band room anytime between 3-6:30)/Brass Choir
Tree Lighting-Members are to meet at the Gazebo in
Mt. Vernon in windsuits and Santa Hats at 5:45, we will then
go to Pizza Hut for dinner from 6:30-7:30 (Remember its Band
night at Pizza Hut, everyone have dinner with us and
designate 20% of your dine-in ticket to the Band Boosters).
Tuesday
- Rehearsal 3-5/Mt. Vernon Christmas Parade
(you will need to bring your uniform to concert band
rehearsal) we will leave from rehearsal at 5:30, the parade
begins at 6:00, we should be back to the school around 6:45.
Wednesday-All-Regional
Practice 3-4:30-Everyone who plans to audition on
Sunday needs to stay for this session
Thursday-Rehearsal
3-5/Brass Choir 5-5:30-Section Leaders to CKCB rehearsal in
Lex/Winterguard 6-8
Friday
-Home Basketball Double Header-5:30-9:00-Windsuits
Saturday
Brodhead Christmas Parade-Meet at RCHS at 2:00 in
uniform, we should be back by 4:00
Sunday
-All-Regional Band Auditions at South Laurel High
School-Auditions begin at 2:00-you need to have
transportation to and from, auditions are first come, first
served.
