Ms. Brittnay Blair is one of several new additions to the teaching family here at R.C.H.S., and all seems to be going well with her in her new position at The Rock.
Many of you may know (or will know) Ms. Blair. A lot of the students who know her are 10th graders, because Ms. Blair teaches World Civilization class to sophomores, along with her sections of Honors World Civ.
Ms. Blair started teaching just this year, and she
admits to being very excited about coming to R.C.H.S. to work. "I’m from
here, so to teach here is such an honor," Ms. Blair said. "There wasn’t
anywhere else I really wanted to teach."

Ms. Blair later said that she planned to stay here at RCHS for a while and that she also hopes to help with the Y-Club while she’s here.
According to Blair, she’s had a wonderful experience so far, and her favorite part about the job is reportedly the interaction with the students.
She chose the subject that she is teaching, Social Studies, based on what her focus was in college, and she chose to teach high school because of the depth in history a teacher gets to cover in grades 9-12. "I love history," she says, "and high school is really the only place where I can go in-depth as much as I want."
Her expectations are to make as much of her newfound role as a Social Studies teacher as humanly possible, while make a lasting impression.
